The Dates and Programme for our Meetings

The current year’s programme runs from September and will end with the June meeting. Full details appear on the page for the Current Year.

But even though our previous years’ programmes are now history, it can be interesting to look back at the wide range of speakers and presentations which have both educated and entertained us. Our programmes from 2005 onwards appear in our Electronic Archive.

The Calendar and Journal for our Meetings this Season

The programme for 2010-11 is as varied as ever, with visiting speakers telling us about the West Coast Railway Postal Service, the connection between philately and the police and, as a special event to mark the Society’s 80th Anniversary, a review of Stamps For Schools where we look forward, while looking back at the same time! Plus, of course, a varied programme of contributions from our own Members.

Whatever Henry Ford did, or did not, say, History is not Bunk. The Southport Stamp and Postcard Club was founded in 1930, and therefore we have quite a considerable amount of history, and a small part of it is now in our electronic archive.
